Brian Jordan for Congress

For the people, Not the Party

My Bio

Brian Jordan is committed to empowering Maryland residents and small businesses to thrive without the burden of increased taxes. His vision centers on serving the people, not party lines, ensuring a stronger, more prosperous Maryland for all.

My Key Issues

Education

Investing in education is investing in our future. I will champion increased federal funding for our public schools, support vocational training programs, and work to make higher education more affordable and accessible. I also believe in expanding access to early childhood education and ensuring our students have the resources they need to succeed in a competitive world.

enviroment

The Chesapeake Bay is a vital natural resource and economic driver for our region. I am committed to working with state and local partners to implement effective conservation measures, reduce pollution, and protect our waterways and natural spaces for future generations. This includes supporting initiatives that address climate change and promote sustainable practices.

economy

My top economic priorities include supporting our small businesses through access to capital and resources, investing in job training programs that align with the needs of our growing industries (including federal facilities), and advocating for infrastructure improvements that facilitate commerce and reduce commute times. I will also work to attract new businesses to the district and ensure that our federal employees and contractors have stable, well-paying jobs.

Diversity

Our district's diversity is its strength, and I am committed to being a representative for all its residents. I've spent extensive time listening to constituents across Calvert, Charles, St. Mary's, Anne Arundel, and Prince George's counties. My approach involves holding regular town halls, engaging with local businesses, visiting our federal installations like Patuxent River Naval Air Station and NASA Goddard, and ensuring that policies consider the unique needs of our agricultural communities, bustling towns, and those who serve our nation.
